April 1, 1965 – June 24, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our dear sister, daughter and aunt, Brenda Susanne Shabogomik, age 57 years, on Friday, June 24, 2022.
Brenda was born in Geraldton, Ontario on April 1, 1965 to Daisy and John Ritch. Brenda will be deeply missed by her father John Ritch (Gloria Wabison); her siblings Sally Ritch (Patrick M.), Barry Ritch (Vicki A.), Jennifer Ritch, Florence Bartolotta (Angelo B.), John Jr. And Elijah Wabison, as well as her many nieces and nephews who she loved like her own.
Brenda was known for telling stories, her sense of humour, her happy persona, and how she always looked out for her family. She had a way of lighting up a room with her positive energy.
Brenda has been reunited with her loved ones: her son Travis Ritch, partner Maxwell Gagnon, brother Larry Ritch, mother Daisy Ritch, niece Shelly Ritch, grandparents Charlotte Ritch, Chris Ritch, Agnes Shabogomik, Sam Shabogomik and Sylvia Iserhoff.
Funeral Services for Brenda will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 12:00pm in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date.
