Obituary

LUDVIK SKROB

Mr. Ludvik “Leo” Skrob passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Care Group on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, just four days before his 89th birthday. Leo was born on April 24, 1932 in Yugoslavia.

Although Leo faced many illnesses and challenges throughout his life, he never let his disabilities get him down. Leo’s Catholic faith was important to him, and he used it to fight every battle with strength and bravery. He looked for the positive in every situation. Leo was a kind man and always had a way of brightening the lives of those around him.

Leo will be missed by the amazing doctors, nurses and staff of St. Joseph's, who cared for him for many years. They truly became family to Leo and he was so grateful for the comfort and compassion provided to him. The memories shared together were special. Leo is also survived by his sisters Annico Skok and Pavla Candek and their families.

We were so saddened to hear of Leo's passing. We knew Leo quite well as he was in St. Joseph's LPH site
with my mom Rosalie Morris for quite a few years. This is where we got to know a wonderful man. He always
greeted us with the biggest smile and laughter. He had nickname for Albert...Macaroni which always made us laugh.
He loved his chocolate which we made sure to bring him on each visit to see my mom. We loved his piano
playing and loved when he won at Bingo.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and of course all of his care givers. Rest in Peace Ludvik
