Condolence: Carolyn, Wes & family: Much love to you at this sad time. George touched the lives of so many in a positive way and he definitely left this world a better place. I met George years ago at Lakehead University where I found him to be caring ,helpful, sincere, witty, and so talented! His bark was far worse than his bite. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy Carolyn on the loss of George, he was a remarkable man and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Condolence: I am sad to see George is no longer with us. I met him at Lakehead University where I still work. We had many occasions to work together. To say in the bio he was a "jack of all trades" doesn't even cover what he did. His love of fishing was apparent to me, as I do so also, and he even gave me secret info to spots I never even considered.
